Terms and Conditions

Must be 25 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
Vehicle must be returned on the expiration date unless the renter extends the rental period within 24 hours prior.
Renters are subject to a $150 security deposit.
Only the driver named/authorized may use the vehicle.
In any circumstances where another driver, apart from the named authorized driver, is found using the vehicle which the hirer rented and it meets with an accident, the hirer has to inform immediately.
No repair is to be done without approval.
If the hirer is found towing and/or repairing the rented vehicle at any workshop unauthorized by us, a penalty of $500 will be imposed.
Driftwood Car Rentals will not be responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings and the contents therein (including any valuables, even if we have been advised) during storage or during the disposal process, and you hereby release Driftwood Car Rentals from any liability in respect thereof.

Rental Terms and Conditions

All Rentals must be returned in a relatively clean condition. NO SMOKING!!! There will be a detailing charge for excessive dirt/smoke which ranges from $75 - $200 depending on the state of the vehicle upon return.
All rentals must be returned on the fuel level in which it was received. If it is not returned with sufficient fuel, there will be a $10 per gallon fuel charge which will be deducted from your deposit or charged to your credit card.
All renters are entitled to a one-hour grace period. After the grace hour, you are subject to be charged for a full day. NO exceptions.
Never leave keys in the vehicle. There is a replacement fee of $250 for lost keys. If keys are lost or damaged in any way.
All renters are responsible for repairs and are liable for any damages to tires / rims / hubcaps.
If a problem occurs with the rental, please report it as soon as possible to prevent any further damages.
All renters are responsible for any missing parts or damages to the rental while under contract.
There will be a flat rate of $300 or the deposit will be held for missing parts, minor scratches, or dents found on the vehicle upon return.
Vehicles that are rented for more than (14) fourteen days are subject to an inspection. All renters that terminate weekly or monthly rental are subject to be prorated.
Car Seat Rental: $15 per day. Additional driver: $5 per day.
Loss Damage Waiver is a deductible of $1500. Driving the vehicle unsafely – "Unsafely" can include negligent driving or violation of traffic laws.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or using drugs, regardless of the degree of intoxication, is strictly prohibited. The vehicle should not be operated by unauthorized drivers.
The renter is responsible for all traffic violations.
Should the hired vehicle be involved in any traffic offense during the rental period, the hirer agrees to be liable for any issues with the vehicle that arise under their care and agrees to pay all fines and any amounts imposed by government or semi-government authorities.
Never leave the scene of an accident without a police report.
Repairing the vehicle without proper authorization from Driftwood Car Rentals is not allowed.
Failure to cooperate with these terms and conditions will result in a breach of the rental agreement.
